Service includes one and/or two SERVICE VISIT(s) for each microscope consisting of the following:
Mechanical Components: Cleaning, lubricating and adjusting of all external mechanical parts, including coarse and fine focus mechanisms; shutters; mechanical stages, condensers and carriers; revolving nosepieces and iris diaphragms.
Optical Components: Cleaning and aligning of external prisms and lenses in binocular head; cleaning of eyepieces, filters, fluorescence systems and condensers (brightfield, phase, darkfield, Nomarski, Hoffman, et. al.); cleaning, centering and parfocusing of objectives; and aligning of all light sources.
Electrical Components: Cleaning and testing of camera systems; testing power supply output.
All labor and travel required in connection with STANDARD USE shall be included; all service is backed by a one-year labor guarantee which includes 24 hours response time locally and two (2) "emergency calls" with one maintenance visit and/or four (4) "emergency calls" with two maintenance visits.
If microscopess are removed to our shop for repair, every effort will be made to effect service as quickly as possible. All repairs are charged at current hourly rates; repair parts are not included. Quantity discounts are offered as indicated below:
- 2 Instruments 5% Discount
- 3-5 Instruments 10% Discount
- 6 or More Instruments 15% Discount
