Service includes one MAJOR OVERHAUL of each microscope consisting of all mechanical, optical and electrical components:
Mechanical Components: Cleaning, refitting, lubricating and adjusting of all mechanical parts, including coarse and fine focus mechanisms; shutters; mechanical stages, condensers and carriers; revolving nosepieces and iris diaphragms.
Optical Components: Cleaning and aligning of prisms and lenses in binocular head; cleaning of eyepieces, filters, fluorescence systems and condensers (brightfield, phase, darkfield, Nomarski, Hoffman, et. al.); cleaning, centering and parfocusing of objectives and aligning of all light sources.
Electrical Components: Calibrating of camera systems and power supplies and testing of same.
All service is backed by a one-year labor guarantee which includes "unlimited emergency calls" with 24 hours response time locally.
When microscopes are removed to our shop for overhaul, every effort will be made to effect service as quickly as possible. All labor and travel required in connection with STANDARD USE, and repair parts up to a total of $25.00 per microscope shall be included. Quantity discounts are offered as indicated below:
